Cinnamon French Toast Sticks Recipe - so easy and sweet with homemade cinnamon sugar. Enjoying these Cinnamon French Toast Sticks just made and slightly warmed is the ultimate comfort food. Now today I'm going to transform this loaf of bread which happens to be a Pane Di Casa into french toast sticks first thing that you need to do is grab yourself a sharp knife and then I'm going to cut it into thick pieces that absorb and not fall apart when we make it.

Right we have cut the bread into sticks they need to be cut and their wide and they will be able to stand sometime in some egg and being fried up so now we're going to get on and make the batter. Beat together three eggs and a quarter of a cup of milk Beat together. Vanilla is optional but I just love vanilla with everything! Add half a teaspoon of vanilla. I've got a quarter of a cup of raw sugar here and to that, we are going to add our cinnamon. This is what's gonna give us all the beautiful cinnamon flavor.

Add a really generous teaspoon of cinnamon to this It's really tricky one to say, isn't it? You might not use all of your cinnamon dipping sugar but you can always use this when you're making french toast or pancakes this just a beautiful talking so we just made are in cinnamon sugar here so it's a quarter of a cup of raw sugar and a good heaped teaspoon of cinnamon if you're you're like yours little sweet add more sugar or more cinnamon.

Now we have a cinnamon sugar we are going to heat up our butter, dredge our bread. dip our bread into our egg. just very quickly dips in and then you can pop it back on the plate which I'll do here, so they are good to go get a full plate we will just really quickly as I said because you really don't want to go soggy and you can see how it was in smaller pieces would get very quickly get soggy and I could fall apart when they fry crust keeps it even in better shape so keep dipping it through and if you do with the end have any batter leftover you just make yourself an omelet or quickly cut up a bit more bread but this tends to be just enough.

I'm making cinnamon french toast for us for lunch and the kids are standing by waiting! been trying out different batters and different recipes nobody's complaining well have been doing it but now that it's just rotting I just couldn't wait to share it with you that they also sharing in delicious just cover them all in the cinnamon sugar and then just eat them up there they check those out cinnamon french toast sticks look at them close up well the cinnamon sugar is nice and crunchy and sweet on the french toast that is just comfort food and my kids just adore it! It looks like a face.
